  4. Next, select the “update driver” option from the same menu. Then, opt for “Browse my computer for driver software,” followed by “Let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer,” and finally “Have disk.” Choose the iusb3xhc.inf file and then click “ok.”
  5. Confirm the installation despite the disabled driver signature verification notification.
  6. Restart your device by pressing Windows + R, typing “shutdown.exe /r /o /f /t 00,” and hitting enter. Disable driver signature verification during the boot by following step 5’s instructions.
  7. Check for unknown devices in the device manager and select “Driver Details” to verify the “VID_8086” code in Hardware Ids after booting.
  8. Update the driver by selecting “Update Driver” and choosing “Browse my computer for driver software” after confirming the correct hardware ID. Select the iusb3hub.inf file and click “OK” to proceed.
  9. Please restart your computer once more.
  10. Confirm a successful Intel driver installation by checking the device manager for the presence of Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller and Intel(R) USB 3.0 Root Hub under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
