AT&T Service Issue on Galaxy Note 7

AT&T Service stops selling Galaxy Note 7. Since the launch of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung faced a deluge of problems due to the explosion fiasco. Although initially the device seemed promising, the non-removable batteries produced by Samsung’s SDI firm proved to be a costly mistake. As a result, the explosion issue not only harmed Samsung’s revenue but also tarnished the company’s reputation and trust among its users. However, Samsung took immediate action by recalling the phone globally, successfully collecting hundreds of thousands of smartphones to rectify the situation.

Despite the initial success of the recall in restoring Samsung’s reputation, the replacement units of the Galaxy Note 7 proved to be a new source of troubles. Public frustration grew as these proclaimed safe Note 7s continued to catch fire, further damaging Samsung’s image and increasing scrutiny from the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Even though Samsung has made efforts to ensure the safety of the phone, a combination of bad luck and hard luck has made it difficult for the Galaxy Note 7 to recover.

AT&T Service Removal of Galaxy Note 7

After reports of replacement Galaxy Note 7 explosions during flights and in the hands of consumers, major US carriers have taken action. Unfortunately for Samsung, the situation worsened when AT&T announced the removal of the Galaxy Note 7 from their smartphone lineup, marking a significant blow to the company.

“In addition to removing the Galaxy Note 7 from their smartphone offerings, AT&T has also declared that they will no longer provide Galaxy Note 7 replacement units. Affected users with an AT&T Galaxy Note 7 are advised to either receive a full refund or select an alternative Samsung or non-Samsung smartphone. According to an official statement, AT&T stated that…

Given recent reports, we have decided to temporarily suspend the replacement of new Note 7s. This measure is necessary while we investigate the reported incidents further. However, we strongly advise customers with a recalled Note 7 to visit an AT&T location to switch their device with either another Samsung smartphone or any preferred smartphone brand. Despite the temporary halt, we still believe in providing our clients with alternative options,” stated the company in an official announcement.”

Following AT&T’s lead, it is highly likely that other carriers will soon take similar measures. Unfortunately, this development is yet another setback for Samsung. It’s safe to say that Samsung failed to make good decisions this year. Due to the recurring safety concerns surrounding the Galaxy Note 7, buyers are hesitant to purchase it, and this situation has caused a significant blow to the company’s reputation, affecting its other smartphone models as well.
