Charge An Android Phone Faster
If you’ve been using Android devices, chances are there have been times when you urgently need to leave now, but you phone is still charging. This can be frustrating.
In this post, were going to show you a few things you can do to speed up charging on an Android device.
Use Proper Equipment
The speed at which your phone charges isn’t really dependent on your phone model, rather, it depends on what charger you are using. If you are using an incorrect or low Amp charger, it could take up to 3-4 hours for you to get a full charge.
To avoid this, make sure that you use the charger which came with your phone. Another thing you can do is to plug in to a power outlet which doesn’t have a ton of other devices plugged into it.
Tweak the settings
Sometimes it’s the phone software that drains a lot of battery life and also causes slow charging. For example, WiFi if left switched. Tweaking some settings on your phone’s software could save your battery and also enable it to charge faster.
- Turn off WiFi when charging
- Turn on Airplane mode. If your phone is on Airplane mode, no signals will be going to and fro from your device
- Turn off GPS when charging
- Turn off Bluetooth when charging or not in use.
Switch your device off while charging
When your Android device is turned off, it will charge the fastest. This is because there are no processes for it to handle and not energy is getting expended.
So if you have ever been in a situation where you need to urgently go out, but your phone’s battery is below 20%? I know, it is the most frustrating feeling ever then above accurate detailed guide is for you to apply.
Trying one or all three of these steps when charging, can increase charging speed.
