Please note that to view saved WiFi passwords on your Android device, it is essential to have a rooted device. If your device does not have root access, you can explore the Android Rooting section for helpful guides.

  • Proceed to download and install ES File Explorer on your Android device.
  • Access the Internal Storage on your device.
  • Locate the root directory by searching.
  • Once you have located the correct directory, proceed to navigate through data/misc/wifi.
  • Inside the WiFi folder, you will find a file named “wpa_supplicant.conf”.
  • Tap on the file and open it using the built-in text/HTML viewer.
  • Note that all the networks and their respective passwords are stored in the “wpa_supplicant.conf” file. Please refrain from editing this file.
