HTC Mobile – Leaked Images and Specs

HTC Mobile – Leaked Images and Specs. Ahead of HTC’s scheduled event on January 12th, where they plan to unveil the HTC U Ultra and U Play, both the devices’ specs and images have already been leaked. @Upleaks, a Weibo tipster, has revealed all the details and even shared alleged images of these smartphones.

HTC Mobile – Overview

HTC mobile upcoming flagship smartphone, known as the HTC U Ultra or codenamed HTC Ocean, will feature a large 6-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which is likely to be expandable. The graphics performance will be handled by the Adreno 540 GPU. The device will sport a dual camera setup, with 13 MP and 12 MP lenses, and a 16 MP front camera for high-quality photos and video calls. A substantial 4,000 mAh battery will provide power, while the fingerprint scanner will be located on the rear of the device. Overall, this is anticipated to be HTC mobile latest flagship smartphone for the year.

The second smartphone that has had its details leaked is the HTC U Play. This device will feature a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be powered by the MediaTek MT6755 processor. The HTC U Play will come equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Unlike the U Ultra, it will not have a dual camera setup and instead will feature a 16MP main camera and a 16MP front-facing camera. HTC appears to be prioritizing the quality of the front-facing camera, which is beneficial considering the increasing popularity of video calls and live video features on platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the home button of the device.

When examining and assessing the features of both HTC Mobile latest smartphones, it is important to consider that rumors tend to circulate heavily just before their official unveiling. Therefore, there is currently no confirmation regarding whether the devices will indeed possess the aforementioned specifications. One detail that raises suspicion is the use of the Snapdragon 835, as it is expected to debut with the Galaxy S8 devices. Therefore, it seems unlikely that the HTC U Ultra will employ this particular SoC. With the event just two days away, anticipation builds as we eagerly await to see what HTC has in store for us.
