Restore All LG G2 Models
Stock firmware’s are sometimes not as good as they should be but sometimes you need to install these in your device.
If you have LGs latest flagship, the G2, and you need to restore it to stock firmware, this guide can help you do it.
These are the models of the LG G2 that this guide will work with:

Have you downloaded the firmware for your device? Now let’s go on to installation.
- Download and install the following:
- LG Support Tool
- LG Flash Tool here
- LG G2 USB Drivers
- Turn your LG G2 off and boot it into download mode:
- Press and hold down on the Volume Up key
- Plug in the USB cable
- Let go of the Volume Up key.
- Extract the LG Flash Tool you downloaded and installed in Step 1. Double click exe
- When the Flash Tool opens, change the select type to Also, change the phone mode to DIAG.
- Now, click Select kdz Option file. Select .KDz extention file from downloaded Firmware folder.
- Now, click on Normal Web Upgrade Test.
- You should see a pop-up window that will show you your Phone Information.
- Click on the Upgrade Start
- You should get another pop-up, this one asking you about the Language and Country.
- For language, select English but, for country, select Republic of Korea.
- Click on Ok and the installation should begin.
- When it is done, the LG G2 should reboot. Afterwards, don’t forget to do a Factory Reset.
- Press and hold down on the volume down and power buttons until the phone screen appears.
