This app allows you to alter the settings of your device so you can gain control of the graphics.
All you need is a rooted Android device and the right terminologies used for graphics. You can download and install the GL Tools from Play Store. But before you begin enjoying its benefits, it needs to gain root access on your device. The app is more effective when you use it on a device that runs on a low end.
Download GL Tools App
The first thing that you will need to do is go to Play store and download and install the GL Tools app. It comes with a price though. So you have to be sure that you want to enhance your graphics or else regret ever buying the app. After installation, you tap on the app to open it.
- Select Preferred Settings
Next, you need to choose a plugin for GL Tools. Select TEX(DE)coder by tapping on it. By choosing this, you will get more options than the original settings. It will even allow you to alter textures by decompressing and recompressing them. Once you have agreed to the selection, check the appropriate box at the bottom of the page.
Allow Root Access
The app will also need to gain root access on your device which you will need to give. This allows the app to install the new plugin in a panel. You can simply tap Install to start the installation or use Recovery to Install. Your device will then reboot which will take only a few minutes.
Find The Application
Once the device has rebooted, you can now search for the app and do some alterations. Simply tap on the icon. A list of all the apps on your phone will be displayed including an option to allow you to change settings.
Search For The Game
Look for the game you would like to alter and play around by scrolling down the list of apps. Tap on that game and a menu will be displayed showing different options. In this process, you will need to have a great deal of graphical terminology. Go to GPU Name/Emulation.
Deceive Your Device
Boost up the performance of your lower-end device. You can do this by fooling your phone into thinking that you are using a different processor. To do this, check the boxes and choose Use A Template. This will select a template that is pre-made for a chipset with a higher performance. To get more speed, you can turn the graphics options low.
