AllCast

What it is:

• AllCast lets you transfer your content from an Android device to your television – even to an Apple TV! Other TV products that are compatible with the app include Roku, Xbox360, and other smart TVs.

 

 

The good points:

• AllCast works properly, just as it promised. No gimmicks.

The downsides:

• Streaming is not as smooth as you would want it to be on your Apple TV
• It would be more likeable if AllCast would be supported by Chromecast as well

Textra SMS

What it does:

• Textra SMS provides a good alternative for people who are already happy with the notifications on Android, but wants more customizable options forstock messaging.
• It is an easy-to-use messaging app and it is very convenient because you can simply tap on the message and it will show a pop up window where you can immediately reply to or call the sender of the message

Some features:

• It allows you to choose a color for your notification and it has themes (light and dark) that will suit the different tastes of different users
• You also have the option to assign a color for each conversation

Houzz

What it is:

• Houzz lets you browse through millions of photos to give you interior design inspirations for your own space. Majority of the photos are interior, but there are also some that would be useful for the outdoors.
• Majority of the photos provide the name of the item as well as the price, giving you a specific idea if you are really interested in the design.

 

 

Some features:

• Houzz lets you create your own account so that you can create your Ideabook, which is basically a virtual sphere for all the photos that struck your attention.

AWEsum

What it is:

• AWEsum is a puzzle game that has a lot of similarities with the popular Tetris
• The twist in AWEsum is that you’ll have to use math within the game. Interested?
• The blocks in the game have numbers within it

 

 

The gameplay:

• Stack up the blocks in such a way that the sum of the blocks creates the indicated AWEsum number (which changes from time to time)
• You will be able to collect bonuses for stacking up same colors.
• There is a Swap Sphere that will let you swap blocks in case you get stuck at one point

• For those looking for an extra thrill and mind play in their games, the AWEsum game can be downloaded for only $0.99.
• An AWEsum+ version is also available, and this can be purchased for only $1.99

Roadkill Xtreme

What it is:

• Roadkill Xtreme is an arcade type of game that has a lot of art in it
• The game is largely similar to Dragon Ball Z and Harvest Moon (if you are familiar with those games)

 

 

The gameplay:

• The goal of the game is for you to bring the hero, Walter Noodles, through the maze of roads and collect coins
• As always, there are various elements that will try to stop you from successfully achieving your goal. This may include: dogs, trucks (because the roads are traffic), thugs, and girls with the wrong intentions
• The coins that you collect along the ay can be used to purchase equipment and power ups

The good points:

• Roadkill Xtreme has easy controls and the game itself is very engaging.

Archangel

What it is:

• Archangel is an action game that can easily be controlled by the fingers.

 

 

The gameplay:

• The goal of the game is to kill the demons by using the sword of Archangel
• The player will have to perform “holy powers” by drawing various patterns on the screen.
• The player may also teleport by tapping on the screen
• Loot drops frequently – so watch out for those!
• The players also have the capacity to purchase a gear after every level.

The good points

• Archangel has easy controls and the graphics are also smooth and nice.
